Tag 413 – über 1687 Tote und 12813 Inhaftierte
Weitere Dörfer im Norden Myanmars wurden von Militärsoldaten angezündet. Zusätzlich fuhren mindestens 300 Junta-Soldaten in einem Konvoi durch den Süden des Kalay Townships, während andere das Gebiet mit Artillerie beschossen.
Militärinsider berichten außerdem, dass die Junta eine “hochgradig zerstörerische” Bombe im Karenni-Staat eingesetzt hat. Neue Beweise deuten darauf hin, dass die Junta nach dem Putsch ein Waffenarsenal aus Serbien gekauft hatte, das hochexplosive Bomben, auch bekannt als FAB-Bomben, enthält. Eine solche Bombe wurde von einem Kampfjet auf eine katholische Kirche in einem Dorf in Demoso abgefeuert. Sie explodierte beim Aufprall nicht und wurde von Karenni-Widerstandskräften, teilweise vergraben gefunden und geborgen. (Myanmar Now)
